ROFF begins operations in the Brazilian market

ROFF has just announced the opening of a subsidiary in São Paulo, Brazil. The start-up in the Latin America market reinforces the company's internationalisation policy.

ROFF, with over ten years experience in projects developed in Brazil, also wants to be a benchmark of professionalism and quality services in this market. To achieve this it has already sent a senior team to São Paulo. Later on, the company will recruit consultants who will be trained at the ROFF Academy, in Portugal.  The initial team is composed of 12 professionals. The estimated turnover for the first year is 1.5 million euros.

ROFF is currently developing projects in multinationals and Brazilian groups, such as the Camargo Corrêa Group. But ROFF Brasil will also look beyond this market for new business opportunities in other Latin American countries, especially Colombia and Peru where it has already been involved in projects.

According to Francisco Febrero, CEO of ROFF, "more than ten years experience of projects developed in Brazil gives us confidence that this strategy will allow us to continue to grow. We want to move into the Latin American market, adding value through our services and the qualifications of our team. We believe in the potential of our services and this new area will be responsible, in the medium-term, for a significant contribution to ROFF's overall turnover."

ROFF has already started the process of obtaining partnership with SAP Brasil, and it is expected that this encompasses all service levels, as is the case in all the other markets where the Portuguese company operates. Those service levels include Service Partner, Gold Channel Partner and SAP BusinessObjects Partner.  ROFF Brasil will use, in addition to the local team, the various ROFF teams that work remotely in different countries, such as the SAP Application Maintenance (SAM), SAP Development Factory (SDF) and Adm 24*7.

The company's operations in São Paulo will be led by Fernando Saraiva, who is currently Global Pre-sales Manager. He will combine his current post with that of General Manager of ROFF Brasil. Fernando Saraiva has worked in the company for 15 years, holding SAP consulting coordination posts and he has managed several national and international projects.  He is a Business Administration graduate and holds a postgraduate diploma in Information Systems.

ROFF, a Portuguese company, began its internationalisation strategy in 2006 and the company currently has offices in Luanda, Paris, Stockholm and Casablanca to meet the growing demand for its services in Africa and Europe. Since then the company has been developing operations in other international markets, such as Switzerland, Norway, Poland, USA and in a group of equally strategic regions like the Middle East and South America. External markets already account for more than 60% of ROFF's turnover.
