ROFF performs the first SAP S4 HANA 1610 conversion in Portugal

ROFF realiza 1ª conversão SAP S4 HANA 1610 em Portugal

ROFF, the Portuguese leading company in the implementation of SAP solutions, joins the German multinational's technological commitment to reinvent the ERP for the new digital era, with the go-live of the SAP S4 HANA conversion project at Grupo Zarrinha e Papéis Vouga.

Grupo Zarrinha e Papéis Vouga has relied on ROFF as their partner since the initial implementation of the SAP software in 2007 and have now, with their services, become the first company in Portugal to convert their SAP ECC 6.0 system into S4 HANA 1610. The project lasted 3 months and entailed a multidisciplinary team, comprised of 2 technical consultants and 5 functional consultants in the fields of accounting, purchases, sales, logistics, production and human resources.

"This service encompasses a number of project accelerators, it follows the SAP "10 STEPS 2 S4" methodology and it is ensured by a dedicated team that specialises in these conversion processes."

Mário Oliveira, COO of ROFF

With this conversion, Grupo Zarrinha e Papéis Vouga invests in the potential of the new ERP SAP generation, with the main goal of "providing the latest technology to the company, and thus face new challenges with an innovative platform, with no restrictions for the business", according to Renato Ferreira, advisor to the group's administration. "With S4 HANA," he adds, "we will be able to improve our budgeting solution and implement the EWM Warehouse Management module, now included in the ERP."

In the past two years, all of ROFF's root implementation projects were about implementing the S4 HANA system from scratch. Now, with this Zarrinha e Papéis Vouga project, a new process is launched to convert their installed customer base to SAP S4 HANA.

In order to prepare themselves for this new cycle, ROFF certified a team of 12 senior consultants, in Walldorf, in the SAP methodology for these conversion projects, and developed the new line of service "GO 2 S4 HANA", presented to the market at the SAP Business Forum in Lisbon.
